Concealer Face-Off | Instant Age Rewind vs. Lumi Touch Review

Today I am going to be doing a different type of post. This is going to be my new series called “Beauty Face-Off”. Every post I will be comparing 2 similar products and give you my review of them along the way. Sadly, only 1 will rise to the top and be the winner. Today, we are testing out 2 Maybelline concealers. They are similar but at the same time different. If you want to find out the winner then, keep reading!

This is the comparison of each concealer. As you can tell, the Lumi Touch has orange/red undertones to it. The Age Rewind has more pink/blue undertones. They both are very different on the skin. Although they both have similar applicators. In order to get product you must twist for both to dispense product onto the applicator. For the Lumi Touch it is a brush and the Age Rewind it is a sponge. Personally I like the brush better.

Here is a (not-so-attractive) image before any concealer was applied. Screen Shot 2016-02-28 at 9.37.03 PM

I apply my concealers in a triangle shape under my eye. On the left eye is the Dream Lumi Touch. Right eye has the Instant Age Rewind.Screen Shot 2016-02-28 at 9.36.50 PM

This is the result after I blended both in with a damp beauty blender. The right eye is slightly brighter than the left. In the image you can’t see a large difference but, I saw that the right eye gave more illumination to my whole right side of my face.Screen Shot 2016-02-28 at 9.36.56 PM

So, in conclusion, I would choose Instant Age Rewind as my winner!! Please leave a comment and tell me what you think! Which one was the winner for you?
